Next year Bristol and the South West region will be celebrating 100 years of aviation and innovation. The celebrations mark the first flight of the Bristol Boxkite plane which propelled the city to the forefront of aviation technology. The Loop is very proud to have been to asked to create the event’s logo and strapline which will appear on all publicity and communication. The celebrations will take place throughout the year with a series of workshops, exhibitions, children’s events, parades and dinners.
BP’s lubricants business has, with our help, just launched an extensive Learning and Development toolkit entitled Gearshift. The toolkit is part of a global campaign designed to help managers to explain the importance of Learning and Development to their teams and to direct them to heart of the toolkit – the intranet site. The Loop was brought in from the start of the development and carried out a communication audit to establish the right messages and channels.
We went on to design and write content for the intranet portal and all of the tools to accompany it, which included a user-guide, presentation, posters, brochure, animation (see below) and video which was packaged into an easy to use, interactive CD-ROM. An enclosed user-guide explained to the managers how they could adapt the tools to suit their local audiences. The toolkit is now being distributed around the world.
After a rigorous selection process, The Loop is delighted to have been confirmed onto the new BP Agency Roster. The Roster is a shortlist of communication agencies with a proven record of experience and expertise. It has been set up to ensure that only the most qualified agencies are used to deliver BP’s communication. The Loop has been helping Castrol and BP deliver quality communications since 1987. We have produced a wide range of business critical global campaigns for BP, offering help with strategic planning and creating videos, animations, intranet sites, games and toolkits on topics such as customer centricity, learning and development and reward schemes.
